About Good as Goldens

Welcome to Good as Goldens! We are a Christian family located in east Texas. We have many passions in life that include pastoring our small church, farming on our 30 acres with our four-year old son and you guessed it, raising the BEST of the best European Golden Retrievers!

Here, at Good as Goldens, we have an exceptionally high standard for breeding. Our dogs come from only the finest genetics available in this business.

Our champion-line Retrievers meet OFA's standard for heart, eyes, elbow and hip clearances. Our dogs are also PennHip tested and have received well above the normal scores. We breed ONLY THE BEST and follow a genetic pattern for a EUROPEAN STANDARD (not American, no mixing the two either) to shine through every litter.

Our Champion European Golden Retrievers are tested and CLEAR of PRA 1&2 and are also ICT CLEAR! We are breeding for health 1st, next for wonderful temperaments and last but definitely not least, for their GORGEOUS LOOKS!

Our puppies are WELL socialized and live in our home with us and will be partially, if not wholly, crate trained.
